This was exactly what I expected. It has good weight which helps pounding the 4 x 4Γ’β¬Λs. It also has a comfortable grip. I will definitely recommend this.

The post driver did exactly what I wanted it to do. The weight was great for driving a 5" diameter post in the ground. It is a sturdy devise. I would recommend it to others.

I needed to add a couple T-posts to an existing fenceline, and thought this tool might be easier than my usual sledge-hammer.=== The Good Stuff ===* This thing is big and heavy. I didn't weigh it, but the webpage says 24 pounds, and I wouldn't argue with that. It is constructed out of reasonably heavy gauge steel, and powdercoated to prevent rust. The handles are reasonably comfortable.* The tool is long enough to give you enough of a vertical stroke to build up some momentum. Luckily I was putting in posts in ground well softened by spring rains, so they went in quite easy-maybe 15 strokes per pole. (It took about 10 with a sledgehammer).* The top of the unit, where these things usually fail, seemed strong and well welded.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* The diameter of the tool is about 6", which is just too wide. It is tough to generate enough force to drive a stake and still hit the stake reasonably plumb. It was all to easy for the wide diameter to let you hit off-center and drive the stake crooked.* Due to the nature of its use, this tool will get banged-up and rusty. But the powder-coating already has a couple of flaws visible...so a head start on the rust.=== Summary ===The wide-diameter was a bit of a non-starter for me. I just couldn't control the downward stroke well enough to drive stakes plumb into the ground. What I finally ended up doing was using this tool to start the stakes, then relying on the ever-trusty sledge-hammer to finish. The tool is heavy, which helps get started, but you can probably skip arm day at the gym is you put in more than one or two posts.

Nice and heavy with a large diameter hole. Handles are built well and it easy to hold.

I have been trying others, but this one is heavy enough and large enough to handle most of the posts.

This is an incredibly big and heavy post hole driver. BUT because it's big and heavy, it knocks in easier than lightweight ones. It's great for T-posts and U-posts. VERY high quality. This is why it's so expensive. The only downside is that it IS very heavy. But in order for it to be so effective, it has to be.I recommend highly!

Nice handle. Seems very durable. Pounds 4 inch posts in nicely.
