This is much easier to use than the traditional, I live in GA so driving t posts through the hard soils and rocks is a work out for sure. I did have to use the traditional when I was hitting rocks but this is a great tool when installing t post. Highly recommend

The spring broke and jammed the tool. It never functioned properly and is difficult to use. I would have been better off with a less expensive tool.

I order for an electrician and the field staff fight over who gets to have these on their vans, they are their favorite way to drive things into the ground!

My family members have driven a LOT of t-posts into the ground over the years. I decided to try this spring loaded hammer because I thought it might reduce the effort it takes to drive a post into the ground. Boy was I wrong. The spring makes it feel like you're hitting the tpost with a pillow. It is completely ineffective at driving a post into the ground. Instead of saving energy, it requires significantly more energy while not even performing. No one has had success with this hammer and we all agree the regular hammers are the only way to go. This thing is junk.
