I have been using this product for about 23 months. It has worked great the entire time. The time, and all other information, is easily readable. I have had to change batteries twice, but that is to be expected. I would highly recommend this product.

Works as advertised. Set it up last night and this morning, it has the correct time and date. The remote temperature sensor is connected and working. Using it in the garage. I keep losing car batteries because they want to overcharge me for cold tolerant ones. So I put a heater in there that keeps the temp above 45F. Hopefully the sensor will alert me of extreme temps.I've had clocks like this for years, so I know over time they get dimmer and dimmer until they're hard to read, and the sensor ends up broken. But that won't be for at least three years if it's any good. I like the size of the numbers on this one. It's easy to read. The time is about 3 inches tall. The date is over an inch, maybe 1.5 inches. One difference is I'm not sure there's a way to manually set the time on this one. I'll have to read the manual to find out. So there's a feature, you can just put in batteries, and let it work. You don't need to read the manual if you don't want to.Update: The batteries unfortunately died within a week for the REMOTE sensor though. So my choices are, I can buy a Lenink power adapter for the batteries in that (about $15) or go without. So lose a star, because to make it work I'd have to buy something else. In addition the only reason I know about Lenink is because I like to decorate a lot for Christmas using battery powered fairy lights. For most people, if they want the remote sensor to work, it would trigger a lot of returns since a week is well within the return window, and it's not a tolerable length of time for battery powered things.Sharp should consider an on/off switch, and provide two sensors, both of them rechargeable with a USB port. And a snap in on the back of the clock for convenient storage of the sensors. That way, you don't lose them if you're not using them. Even cork bottle stopper LED lights have moved on, from needing to change batteries. It's unnecessary annoyance.

Bought in March 2024. It's now January 2025. The in/out temp seems to work right. I have to update time manually for DST, and it does not automatically update daily. The clock is currently 2 minutes slow. I bought this so one clock in house would always be correct. So, I guess I need to find a new option.

I had one before but my outdoor thermometer broke. I replaced the whole thing and bought another unit for my kitchen. A friend helped me locate the thermostat outside for their respective units. Really enjoyed the fact that I know the temperature outside.

Once properly configured and arranged in your desired location, this is a great tool for scoping temperatures on the patio, here in Florida, car garages ,etc. So you know what the weather is actually like in that space.

I bought this product for night vision when I have to get up to go to the bathroom. But you can’t see anything because there’s no contrasting light built in to it so I’m returning the clock and I’m disappointed because I don’t have an outlet to plug a clock into. I’ll look for something else.
