Great replacement cable and from a reputable brand, I used this part to replace the broken speed lever cable on my Kona bike and got my bike working again.Inexpensive and reliable easy to install and adjust by yourself.To do this job I recommend you the 4th Hand tool (look up here for Enzo Bicycle Professional Brake Shifter Gear Cable Caliper Tension Puller Plier Tool) and this will help you a lot to get the required adjustments done.

Have had these on for a few weeks now. Shifts great, no issues. I did use some PTFE oil to help with the shifting. Orange is a bit lighter than I was expecting. Like one of those navel oranges at the grocery store.

You maybe asking yourself if the extra cost of these over regular cables is worth it. I have say in my opinion 100% yes. These make a real difference. Shifting is noticeably improved especially down shifting. These are the only cables I am going to use going forward.

This cable works well. It has low friction and seems durable, but if your bike has drop bars and bar-end shifters you might not have enough housing to complete one bike. You would think they could include enough housing to cover the worst-case scenario.The length of the inner cable is fine

Nice ultegra optislick chain, probably the cheapest I'll ever find it.Ordering bike parts on here is like playing the lotto. Sometimes you win, usually you don't. But one thing is for sure, you won't get exactly what you ordered.

Rispetto i cavi di cui facevo uso anni fa, e intendo dire tutti quei cavi che sono ricoperti da una patina di silicone o teflon che dir si voglia, non c'è paragone. Questi non si "sbucciano" neanche a farlo apposta. La combinazione tra cavo, guaina e grasso siliconico con il quale usualmente si "unge" qualsiasi cavo prima di inserirlo nelle guaine, fa si che la forza di attuazione della cambiata diminuisca drasticamente. Ora la leva del mio SRAM X0 posteriore è talmente "leggera" che all'inizio quasi non credevo che cambiasse realmente. Ho letto tante recensioni negative in rete e mi viene da pensare che spesso molti nostri "colleghi" ciclisti non hanno le conoscenze e la manualità necessaria per fare i lavori di manutenzione... Io sono un privato... non ho interesse a rencensire una marca rispetto ad un altra ma ho esperienza di manutenzione, ho gli attrezzi necessari e conosco le varie procedure per cui potete credere che questa recensione non è di comodo ma è fatta col "cuore" :-)

Typical Shimano quality, two inner steel cables and one length of outer with end caps and cable crimps.Teflon coated for reliable gear changes, everything you need in a comprehensive package. No instructions included but there is plenty of info on the internet.I've used jagwire in the past but have to say I think this is better.
