This package came with 3 paper filters and a replacement mounting ring. I appreciate that the filters and mounting ring are made by Shop Vac, the same company that made my vacuum. I usually try to buy replacement parts from the original equipment manufacturer to ensure the replacement parts fit and work well, and to ensure I get as long a life as possible out of my Shop Vac.As you can see in the photo, the paper filter fits perfectly. It completely covers the underlying foam filter of my 5 gallon Shop Vac. The mounting ring also fits exactly right. After replacing the foam and paper filters, a two minute task, I tested the vacuum and the suction is just like new.

This 3 pack of genuine Shop Vac paper filters approximately 18 inches in diameter was about $5 cheaper than the 9013711 item, and I think they are the same filters as my original one that came with the vacuum. That one has lasted about 20 years and is still useable. Now, I see a generic filter from WORKSHOP that looks to be the same, but I think they might be showing the dimensions for a folded filter!

These are OEM replacement filters for the use in the 1.5 gallon shop vac. My experience has been that a set of three lasted about 6 years and that included at some point losing the last filter....but they last as long as the foam filter ( wet filter) they go over. I use the shop vac fairly frequently for clean up on home improvement projects, cleaning out the car and general cob-web hunting. for general clean up you wont need to remove and clean the filter very often. The filter does clog fast when picking up fine dust from sheet rock sanding but so does everything else I've used, Not mush gets past the filter, it's not rated as a HEPA filter but it does a good job...The three pack gives you the advantage of having a spare filter allowing you to remove the dirty one and replace with a clean one quickly. They are washable but usually a good shake out is all you need. I purchased and replaced the foam (wet) under filter at the same time. It's nice to find that you don't have to spend nearly as much as the orig shop vac to get a few filters, unlike some other appliances....

Fits my small Shop Vac "All Around". Silly I know but why is it blue...lol. Reminds me of the blue shop towels. Anyway it works great and protects the motor from dust intake. They are tough too because when they're dirty I put on a new one, then I vacuum the used one and "wash and dry it" Can reuse it two or three times. Cool!

The filter for the Shop Vac motor must be closely monitored. Failure to do so may result in dust contaminating the motor and shortening its life. These filters fit the Shop Vac and was easy to install.
