This replacement was able to fit on the original swivel fitting for my Sid Harvey S-14 soot vacuum.Very please to not have to spend $160+ on the original style hose.My vacuum is only used in my shop for my personal projects so this worked perfectly.

Purchased to replace a well worn Shop Vac hose. Did not realize the original was a 1 1/4 opening for accessories so this hose is useless unless you want to spend a fortune changing your collection of accessories. Better off looking for an off-brand 2 1/4 to 1 1/4 hose. Tried a 1 1/2 to 1 1/4 adapter but it was too flimsy as well. If you have 1 1/2 inch accessories I'm sure it's great, otherwise skip it.

House 30 yrs. old planning to repaint all rooms. Literally dozens of screw/nail poppers I had to dig into drywall with chisel to find the loosened screws so I could tighten if possible and install new screws on either side to make sure drywall was tight to the stud again. A lot of drywall repair and sanding with my palm sander that has adapter to hook up to vacuum to collect the dust. Can cover twice as much area than before with my 8 foot hose!
