I received exactly what I ordered. Installed the foam sleeve on my older Shop Vac and it fits. Doesn't get better than this! Time and gas saved!

I have a 6 gal shop vac that I wanted to save a few dollars and stop using the high efficiency filter bags (the yellow ones). So I got these along with some paper sleeves that wrap around the foam filter with a rubber band. You need foam filter in place before using the paper. So I did all that.I put the whole setup to a tough test. Clumping cat litter around my litter box. Lots of fine drywall like dust. I know the description says drywall dust, but don't use these for that. Use the high efficiency brand name yellow bags for drywall dust. You will thank me later.My setup mostly worked, but the fine dust did get by the top lips of the paper filter and then around the edges of the foam filter and there was penetration through the filter to the vac side. Cleanup with my paper filter setup was also real pain. Lots of dust and my hands and in the air. Then I had to salvage the rubber band and empty the whole thing out and put a new setup on. It was just messy.So my overall assessment is, don't bother with a paper filter wrap. Use these foam filters as is for wet cleanup since they are good for that and will protect your vacuum from debris. Use this for large debris like sawdust. Or use these in conjunction with a paper bag filter to keep the filter in case it rips.Don't get me wrong, these are not bad filter, they have a place. Just make sure to use them in the right application and you'll be happy with the results.

Buy the OEM stuff…….always better and does not tear apart on installation like the cheep china knock off.Learned the hard way.
