I was seeking a bag that was not too big, nor too small to be able to carry my stuff while out detecting. This bag is fitting that bill for me. It has an outside zipped pocket in front that is big enough to carry my finds-box as well as an open slot pocket. On one end there is a pinpointer sleeve with leash attachment loop, and the other end a mesh sleeve with a stretchy top to grasp contents. [note: if you plan to wear the bag on your right hip, that would put the pinpointer sleeve to the rear...]The interior of the pouch has an open slot pocket and 2 gear holding niches (could hold tools or a water bottle, etc) besides the big main space. The inside fabric is coated to help keep it clean from dirt & mud from the stuff you drop in. There are also a couple vent/drain holes at the bottom of the bag in case it gets really wet [or maybe after cleaning it helps dry it out].The pouch opening at the top does not have any cinching cord, or flaps or anything like that, but is does have a finished edging that helps keep it a little bit stiffer for easy access. The fabric construction is a durable medium weight canvas. I have had no seam issues with it. There is no belt that comes with the bag. It has a couple 1.5" wide belt loops that easily can accommodate a 3"-wide belt. [I found the perfect one at the local "discount hardware" store for about $5]I think the only improvement I might suggest would be to have more of the belt loop strap stitched onto the back of the bag, rather than just attach the loop at a single point. Yeah, that's cheaper to produce, but less sturdy for the belt loops.

Pouch is well made & I like the fact that there's small holes in one of the sections to let dirt out or even water. It's sized just right & easy to put on or take off. Has enough room for the junk you dig up while metal detecting & holding smaller cases for the good stuff. Came just as described & would purchase again for a friend!

I am a bigger guy so finding a detector pouch to fit me was a little difficult. I bought this bag with the hope that it would fit me and to my surprise it did, it has an extra long waist belt and I am not really that big, I have a 46-inch waist and even the garret bag would not fit around my waist. The pouch is extra big to hold all your tools and supplies you need, with plenty of pockets on it to separate your finds, I separate my jewelry and old coins from my modern clad coins. I would highly recommend this bag to any detectorist, and it is a great value for the money. So what are you waiting for put one in your cart and order it today!!

Overall this finds bag is a good option for the serious detectorist. The stitched canvas looks to be strong quality (I've just got the bag so I can't speak on how long it will last). It is a big bag but not too big in my opinion. If you find yourself with lots of junk along w/the good finds, you'll love the room it provides. The pouch has 3 divisions - one zipper area for the really good finds, one large area for the junk w/drain holes and inside this area another division. The drain holes are on the larger side and tiny junk finds will fall through it. The belt loops on the bag are the biggest disappointment. 1) If something breaks, it's my guess it'll be the stitching on the loops. 2) Also, the way the loops are attached makes the bag hang below them and flop around. But the bag sports some nice features besides the ample room and multiple divisions. It has accessory holders for a probe and shovel. There is also a slot between the two, but I haven't' figured out what to put there yet. On one side is a pin pointer sheath w/a lanyard anchoring point and on the opposite side a water bottle holder. I'm right handed and keep the bag on my left side, so the configuration of the pin pointer is closest to the front. As pointed out by another reviewer, this would be problematic if you keep the bag on the right side of the body because then the pin pointer lanyard would need to be very long. The last con is the price, it is one of the more expensive find bags available. This with the other cons, however, do not outweigh the pros.Pros: Large junk finds area1 sub division area for good finds1 zipper area for other good findsPlace for a probe (haven't seen this in another bag)Shovel digger sheathPin pointer Sheath with lanyard anchoring pointwater bottle holderCons: Pricebelt loopslarge drain holes

This pouch has a lot of room for finds and tools plus I like the fact that it has a pinpointer pouch made right on to the main pouch.

Was bought for my Dad and he is pleased with this, easy to clip together whilst debris falls through the gaps, since getting it he has had good finds.
