There was good for the price but either I don’t look close enough. They’re any good rated for 150 W bulbs and I really wanted something for 250 W bulbs. I use them for outdoor enclosure for cats.

I bought this as a cheap, simple solution to my "I can't grill outside because it's too dark" problem. I wasn't expecting much, considering what I paid. So far though, this clamping light has been great. The lamp sits clamped to the fence in our back yard, and has gone through 2 rounds of heavy rain. It still works perfectly. It's light, but durable, and the clamp is seriously sturdy. It latches on tightly, and isn't affected by the wind. Because it's so light, and because the clamp is so tight, I can move the light around easily. I can hold it with one hand while I work, or just clamp it on to the wood portion of my grill for a more closeup lighting source. I placed a 100W "daylight" bulb in it, which provides more than enough light for my purposes. It's a great little lamp.

Cheap lamp housing for standard light bulbs. Does its job well. Not extra frills or whistles, but that’s what I wanted. The on/off switch is at the base of the lamp, feels durable.

These lights are replacing previous ones I'd had for years, but that didn't make it through the last reno. They will take a beating, but the weakest spot is where the bulb holder meets the metal shade. If that takes too much of a pounding (drops/bangs, etc.), you'll be taping it up to keep it together until you get a replacement.The clamp is very strong, and the light moves in multiple directions. There hasn't been a situation where they didn't shine light where I needed it, except where there just wasn't something to clamp on to.Unless you spend the big bucks on construction grade lighting tools, you can't beat these for the price and utility.

I went to local stores to buy this first - they were 2.5 times the price as this product. I thought, no way, I'm not paying 2.5 times as much, and ordered from Amazon and hoped for the best. I thought, they must be lower quality, as that price difference is quite a lot.When I opened the box from Amazon. I was very happy. Same quality as the local stores, and I got 2 for less that what I would have paid for one locally!!Both work well, and they have nice strong clips. I fully recommend this item.

The silver lamp cover is thin and easily damaged. It arrived dented and scratched. That being said the price and overall quality or the lamp is good. This is for function not form.

The vintage look is great for lighting up a dart board. However on the very first dart thrown was a bad throw and it penetrated the silver metal shroud on the light. So the shroud is not very thick. But the light works and looks great. I see these same lights in movies.
