I really like these patterns. One of our dogs is a show Portuguese water dog who wears a lion cut. Our other dog is an All American. Both have sizing difficulties when trying to find clothes that fit them in the stores. Because of these patterns, we can get easily what we need to fit each dog.

I’ve made a bunch of these for my little Molly as it gets quite cold here in the northwest. I am now making thinner ones for this spring and summer. I’ve been making them without sleeves for additional coolness for the summer.

The product was great, and was a pattern. Unfortunately, this is for dogs on the smaller side. I have a smaller pit bull, so I usually buy medium doggie sized clothes for him. I decided to just go with the medium, but I realized quickly that this was for a smaller dog. I was determined to finish the pattern and the medium measured to a small, and ended up fitting my cat. I had to hugely alter the large pattern to get close to fitting my dog, but struggled with getting the sleeves to fit.

I got this at the recommendation of the Chinese Crested group on Facebook. I was able to make polar fleece pajamas for my Chinese Crested to wear in colors I like as opposed to a lot of what is commercially available. I'm also able to make several pairs for the price of one commercially made pair of pajamas.
