I bought this as a gift for my daughter’s house. A recent visit and a request from my grandson to fix a strap on a costume piece revealed a severe lack of sewing supplies. I wanted a substantial sewing kit that had enough versatility for basic mending that wasn’t huge but still looked good. (I wanted my first sewing kit from years ago in updated form.) When I opened the box I was thrilled to see exactly that. The basket itself is lovely and well made. The magnetic clasp is perfect, and the items inside are more than sufficient for basic mending. All at a cost that was very reasonable. Great value and quality!

Magnet that holds the cover popped off the second time I opened it. Little pegs on the bottom are uneven so it wobbles, the rest seems ok but I just received it today so we shall see

I put 3 stars for the design because I really like it. Manufacture of the box seems to be strong enough to last. The materiel inside is just what you need f you have nothing at all. ….But it is really super small….I was expecting a box I could put the rulers and all the little matériel I need to sew but in fact it is only capable to carry the basic material required for hand sewing or clothing repair. Good box for people who just need to repair a button. I can not find the box with the size I need so I will make it myself.
