I like these reeds, not too expensive, good sound. A little inconsistent, but not nearly as much as other reeds. Bottom line is that I keep buying them.

My middle school bassoon player favors the Sing Dog reed. I was unsure which type of reed she needed so I ordered three different brands and this one won her over and carried her to a regional competition. She appreciated the fit and quality of sound so much, she requested a second (back-up) reed.

The reed was curled up, way too narrow. Had to clip the ends. After soaking it just never sounded right. The shape was odd. Not typical of Singin Dog brand.

Plays well from first use and keeps playing well. No mildew. Color was not like the picture indicated but reed was very well made.

better than expected and better than "chartier" brand. sounds good and my daughter approves it for her bassoon. it matches what her private tutor provides her.

Very disappointed. Firstly, the reeds did not arrive looking anything like the photos. The reeds pictured are beautiful. Love the color combinations. But nowhere in the description does it say that reeds may come with different colored thread. I at least expected a combination of colors. Instead, I got plain pink and plain yellow. Additionally, the yellow one is wrapped so tightly, the hole is so pinched that it cannot be played. Just get Jones reeds. Don't waste your time with this company.
