The quality of sound is mesmerizing. I just wished it came with a stand I could play it on. The stand it comes with us only for display. It was a big hit when we showed it at a recent gathering!

i only wish it were a couple of inches bigger, from 10 inches, or 9 inches, to like 12 inches/13inch I have been learning the notes on it, and teaching myself by ear like I always have with drums, listening to something and just playing it, same with rhythm guitar, stuff like piano, and things like this, take a lot of precision and practice, just cause you to know how to play an instrument, you won't pick this up and be a big shot with it lol, the sticks are very light, that is the only issue I have with it, but other than that, for any aspiring musician, its worth it alone to have to practice your overall, sound and key recognition

My wife says: This 6-inch steel tongue drum is a delightfully fun instrument. It produces clear and loud tones with a pleasing timbre. It would also make an excellent gift for kids or adults interested in musical education. However, some notes were slightly flat when it arrived, likely because the box was squished in transit. Luckily, tuning it was straightforward, using the instructions and my guitar tuner. Now, it plays beautifully. The drum is tuned to C, making it easy to play. But since there are no sharps or flats, I had to get creative with some songs.I had a lot of fun following the songs in the instruction book, even though some familiar tunes had different names. Playing with the mallets provided a clearer sound than the finger picks, but both methods were enjoyable. It's great that the set includes replacement stickers for the note numbers in case they wear off.One suggestion for improvement would be to include an option for letter stickers corresponding to the notes instead of numbers. Lastly, the silicone plug in the bottom hole actually enhances the sound when left in, which was a pleasant surprise.

So, we already had two other tongue drums just like this from another vendor, but we have a little one year old and I wanted him to have his own he could play with, and wow he absolutely loved this! The sticks included with this are kind of a choking hazard and you have to be aware of that, because you have to slide the little rubber ends onto the sticks to play the drum (so if your kid puts the rubber ball end of the stick in their mouth, they could pull it off and choke easily on it) so I just wanted to mention that. However, my one year old absolutely loves taking the little drum stick and hitting this and hearing the different noises, and as soon as he does it the other kids (3 and 4) also want to play and get their own and they all "play music together".All in all this sounds great, is super durable and fun to use, includes a carrying bag and a lot of needed accessories which is nice, and is durable enough to stand up to daily use from a 1, 3 and 4 year old (sometimes all at once). I give this a 10/10, absolutely recommend, great and fun music drum and I think it's a great purchase.

I use the tongue drum for meditation and relaxation. The sound it produces is so lovely that it is genuinely calming. Anybody can play this instrument without knowing how to play. Because of the quality of the sound that it produces, it doesn't sound like a toddler banging on a toy xylophone. You can hit any combo of random notes and it just sounds lovely. This drum is well constructed. I downloaded a tuning app to let me know if this drum is properly tuned or it. The app says it's in tune and I believe it based of the quality of the sound that's produced. Mass produced drums such as this one can suffer from lack of individual care in production. It is possible to get a drum that's barely in tune or slightly out of tune because it was rushed thru the production process. That's a common issue with this type of instrument and not an issue that's unique to this manufacturer. For the price, I do recommend this product. It's great for learning a new instrument. It sounds great. It helps relax you. It's great for meditation. It's sounds therapy of sorts. It's also good for a very wide range of ages. (Be aware the rubber tips of the mallets need to be placed on by the user. So, potential choking hazard for small children.) That's so you can replace the tips as needed from all the use you will put into this wonderful sounding instrument.

I was soooo EXCITED to get the "SINGOFIRE" 12-Notes Handpan Drums for Adults, 22-Inch 440Hz D Minor Kurd, Purple, UNTIL I went to play it, and I have to strike my fingers so HARD just to get any sound out of it and HURTS MY HANDS, ONLY way I can get really good sound is by using the Mallets, BUT the Mallets are so small for me to use so they are useless for me, it looks very BEAUTIFUL, and was very well packaged just not good sound to me, Not sure if others are having the same problem with there's or not. I was HOPING this one would be a great one for the money, BUT I guess I'm WRONG. Like the old saying goes, ((((YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR)))) ((SO TRUE TOO)). (RETURNING DUE TO (NOT) ABLE TO PLAY AT ALL, AND (NOT) GOING TO HAVE A BIG PAPER WEIGHT TO JUST LOOK AT) THIS DRUM IS (JUNK) IN MY EYES.
