I made this into a window mail slot for my house. It worked well enough, but its pretty poorly designed. I don't like that the threaded inserts that attach to the slot face move around. It make the whole thing feel cheap. But I suppose you get what you pay for.

A different type of letter slot. Not like the standard kind. Very well thought out design. Strong aluminum build. Nice finish. Would buy again.

I am a verified buyer! Mail drop slot appears to be well made and is aluminum with a spring closure allowing vertical or horizontal installation. I am pleasantly pleased with purchase. The only ( minor) added feature would be if the mail slot would be available in colors - flat black, white, or ?

They need to improve the Thread qualitythe bolts do not fit rightif you force it the plat is useless

This product is flexible in that it can be installed in wood or garage doors. There are no screw/bolt heads on the outside of the door. It would have been nice if they provided a drill/slot template. Presents an attractive clean look on the door.

We replaced the old cover for our mail slot. All the ones we could find were very expensive. We were sceptical if this one would be effective since it was so much cheaper than the others. But we were pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks. It was very easy to install.

The build wasn't great, and the bolts were far too long and didn't sit properly in the threads causing the material to sheer and bind when attempting to tighten it into position. The plates wouldn't sit flush to the surface.
