Took a while to find this - just the right size to replace a old aluminum flap. Most mail slots are at least 10" wide. I didn't want to enlarge the opening. It works well.

I had to replace the mail slot on my security door. I ordered it and received it the next day! The original mail slot was gold but I wanted a silver color. The color and fit was perfect! It was as simple as removing the old and installing the new. It looks wonderful!

This mail slot cover looks nice and is pretty good quality - the only complaint I have is that it doesn't have a very strong spring and doesn't close as tightly as I hoped.

We bought this for our house since we are gone allot and want oue mail dropped inside. Was easy to cut a hole in our garage wall and install. Took us about an hour. Looka good, operates perfectly.

It was hard to find a mail box that would fit an old door’s pre-drilled slot and the measurements were correctly labeled and it fit perfectly. The polished brass is good quality, the mailbox has a substantial weight and a strong spring closure, and it looks great.

The slot itself is quite good. However, the screws supplied are awful. They snapped off with minimal torque.
