I’ve been looking for a way to block the cold air coming in through my mail slot for years. Saw this and tried it. It was easy to attach to the wall & has stayed secured for a few months now. It catches the mail that is put through the slot.

When i purchased this mail catcher, I also purchased a 5 pk of strong magnets on amazon in order make sure that the catcher stays on. Also attached some velcro to the cover to keep the mail from falling out when the garage door is up. The adhesive on the catcher seems strong but i wanted the piece if mind so used the magnets as well. The magnets are seem strong enough to hold the catcher without using adhesive. It all worked like charm.

The adhesive could be a little stronger but it's holding up pretty well. Keeps its shape. Overall good product.

This bag works great for me. In our area people tend to put a mail slot in the garage door but then the mail just falls on the floor and you may run over it with your car tires. Having a bag on the inside of the garage door solves that problem. This bag holds the mail securely and can accommodate a large quantity and weight. Have had no issues with the mail carrier complaining about putting mail through the slot and having it stick, or being blocked by the back of the bag which is a comment I saw on some other bag reviews. There is a clear vinyl strip at the top of the bag so you can tell when the mail has been delivered. I have attached the bag to the inside of the garage door which goes up when the door is opened. Based on other comments I read, some people were disappointed by the holding power of the included velcro strips so I decided to augment the velcro by screwing two small wood strips inside the bag to the garage door. That way it will never fall off and it basically cost me nothing. In addition, I was concerned that the bag would spill its contents when the door moved into the up position so I purchased a couple of magnetic clasps for about $.50 and put them on either side of the rear flap. Works like a charm.

This fell off the door while I was out of town. Then it stuck to the hardwood floors and was hard to get off.

It keeps falling off the door and considerably sticks out, which makes it look a bit bulky.
