This is a cheap piece of junk. Very disappointing. Do not buy. Will not securely hold skis as other reviewers have noted. I'm returning it. Spend the extra $10 and buy the brand that actually works.

First of all, the grips are strong. They are pretty grippy and holds the skis when the skis are placed in the holder. However, for newer, wider skis, the grip area is less than 1/2 of the ski width and with the wider skis, the weight and the width of the skis are too heavy for the amount of grip area to hold the skis. I had a pair of skis fall out of the wall mount and we were lucky that they were in the basement and not in the garage where it would have hit a car. For kids skis, I think it would be fine, but I would not recommend it for the new generation of skis.

Do not buy this product. It will initially hold skis for a period of minutes, but after 30 - 40 minutes it lets go. Wish I read the reviews on this product before purchasing. Many reviews complain of same issue. Manufacturer said they are working on improving. Hope they do and offer to send me a set. Spending almost $50 on something that does not work and could let go of the skis and hit a car in then garage or do other damage is not worth it. I bought several months ago so I cannot return to Amazon.

I had 3 of the 7 skis fall within in and hour, and the 5 of the 7 fall overnight. I added small bungee cord and none have fallen in 10 days.

Was happy to try and new less expensive product for this purpose but it ultimately failed. I put my K2 Marksman skis (132/106/126 mm) in there and multiple times they've slipped out. They will hang for a few days and then slip out. The product simply isn't large/sturdy enough for wider skis.***Update 3/2/23:A representative reached out and informed me they're working on an updated product to resolve this issue. Looking forward to trying a revamped version of this when its ready.

This product feels very cheap. It was holding my snowboard but you can see the arms bending and I would not trust this hanging anywhere near my car in my garage.

I purchased 8x of these and mounted them in my garage to hold my skis. Everyone of them has dropped my skis, you just never know when it will happen. I’m back to leaning my skis against the wall rather than them falling and crashing into my car or on my children.
