I love this thing. Love that is stainless. I use it for ravioli but you could use it to scoop out fried things as well. The size is good, not too big or small for scooping 1-3 items at a time. I can't believe I was living without this product until now.

Sturdy. When using with pasta immediately clean with a brush or scrubby as the pasta starch tends to stick between the spokes and is hard to remove once dried.

You’re not going to do much better in terms of value for a similar product. Basket is large enough to handle big fry jobs and is very easy to clean. Metal is very sturdy and durable. Would definitely recommend.
