I like making vegan dishes and that calls for a lot of beans. I cook them in an Instant Pot. The handle-less insert pan makes it difficult to drain off the hot cooking water. So I use a soup spoon to fish the beans out instead. It’s very impractical and it necessitated an upgrade. This spoon is a really good tool for the job. The bowl size catches a lot of beans with each dip in the pan. Its flat construction prevents it from gathering a lot of water. The spoon is incredibly easy to handle. I was concerned about that given it is ~15†in length. The quality is very nice. It is a seamless piece of brushed stainless steel. I paid $11.69. So far so good

I make homemade pasta and use this to wind pasta to transfer to pasta bowls. It is wide enough and shallow enough to do the trick perfectly! And it’s made well.

i'm pleased with this purchase. i intend to use this for scooping of things other than rice and to assist in plating with tweezers. Things like plating a mound of long pasta. medium weighed and nice handle, appears to be quality construction.

Very nice ladle. The bowl is angled to better pour soup in your dish without contorting yourself.

Heck yeah. One solid piece of metal. I love it. Will update if rusts.

This ladle is the size for large pots, such as in a commercial kitchen. It's also a fairly flat ladle. It's very nice if this is what you want. The handle is longer than I need, and will be difficult to store in a utensil holder or drawer. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with it, and it's nicely made and balanced, it's just not what I thought it would be.
