This thing is incredible for getting food out of the hot oil or getting pasta out of boiling water. Easy to clean and very sturdy. Get one.

In general, I am not a huge fan of Rösle. Their products are quite expensive, and that was something that you were more willing to accept when they were actually made in Europe. After they moved manufacturing to Asia, I was less enthused.This product works well, and seems to be very sturdy. I suspect it will outlive me. When you view it as a one0time purchase, the value factor goes up. It holds a reasonable amount, and that is not always the case. Some of these skimmer/strainers have a very shallow bowl and so using them for transferring pasta to a sauce, or blanched vegetables to a strainer or bowl of ice water is a tedious process. This particular design works well, and avoids such issues.Bottom line, I would buy it again, but I don't think I will ever need to replace it. It will outlast me.

I use mine to lift curd when making cheese. It's important to not damage the curd and this allows you to lift out a generous portion. It is also important to be able to manage the utensils not to heavy or to light for the job. And allows a good amount of drainage separating the curds from the whey. Very sturdy construction.

As a cooking enthusiast and as a person with not a gentle touch, this skimmer passed the test. Our last skimmer had a plastic handle and a coating and both melted in the cooking process. In contrast, this is durable, dishwasher safe, never falls into the pot because of the hook handle, and stainless steel benefits make this a must in any kitchen. These pictures were taken after 3 months and still looks brand new. Satisfaction is guaranteed.

I didn’t know how much I needed this skimmer! It is handy for so many uses, but in particular, cooking pasta. It scoops ravioli out of boiling water without damaging them and it holds just enough of the pasta water for shaped pastas going into sauces Love it

E' sicuramente di buona fattura e molto bella visivamente. Se devo trovare un difetto forse è un po' pesante.Comunque la consiglio anche se il prezzo è più alto rispetto alla media.
