I use this strainer mostly with a 3qt saucepan. It's a bit large in diameter for that size pot, but it works fine. I have no reason to dislike it. You may want to consider a smaller diameter strainer depending on your needs.This strainer is well made, easy to clean, and it works well with pasta and vegetables. It is a very good tool.

Love this thing! Not matter the situation it always performs! My wife loves it in the kitchen and I take it ice fishing to clear the chunks from the hole. Never disappoints! This is one spoon/ladle/multi-tool that should be on everyone’s wedding registry.

I got this for straining water/residue outta stuff in my pan or pot or whatever needs straining (pasta). Saw a Ramen shop stir fry cook use these behind the counter in Japan. Quite the performance. I'm still tryin to become a master chef, but sadly it ain't gonna happen. My wife uses it to whack me when she chases me outta the kitchen. She uses this all the tine. Again this works great kinda like victory

The strainer is the perfect size. It’s not too heavy. The first time I used it, it swept up an entire tray of gnocchi in one easy motion. No more chasing pasta around the pot. I love it!

Very nice looking, sturdy, well made and it will last forever. Unusual direction for hanging hole, but I keep it in a drawer anyway. Large draining area and deep enough ladle bowl. More of a right angle to handle than expected, but it will do the job. This is replacing my favorite plastic ladle strainer that melted when my husband put it into hot oil. This stainless steel one will survive just about anything. So no worries about damage from heat.

Mann. I was so upset when my trusty old strainer died last week. I had to purchase one asap ad didn't want to buy those cheap ones from grocery stores that look like chicken wire. Well I purchased 2 actually to keep one for spares as this is my essential tool to use almost daily, for scooping freshly cooked veggies to lifting pasta and fried fish.. I tried one of them for now and I'm loving it already. The long handle from this one eliminated my previous issues with the heat of the pan and oil splashing. The big bowl is also handy. Will be using it daily. Will provide updates if the 2nd one don't live up to expectations later.
