I use this while frying foods, straining various meats from their stock. I like the fact that it came in two pieces. A larger one for lots of macaroni straining and a smaller one when I have to pick out meats that are boiling in their soup. Overall, I hunt for bargains with Amazon for their great prices and fast shipping.

I used to use a Chinese wire spider strainer to remove the meat and veg from my stocks. Unfortunately, it was incredibly difficult to clean. The meat would wrap around the wire, making it a nightmare to remove. These strainers are very substantial and drain really well. I have been very happy with them since I started to use them. They make the whole process so much less of a hassle.

These spoons are very sturdy and well made. Will come in handy for several things to perform in the kitchen, especially cooking in hot oils, etc. They have a nice weight to them, not overly heavy or light.I am not sure if this is by design, but the two spoons do not seem to be of a set. They seem to be completely different in how they shine, color, weight, and cuts in the handle. Not a big deal since I don't need them to match, but making an honest observation. Still would recommend these, but them not being matching set is only reason why not a 5 star rating.

Sturdy with smooth edges and rolled handle that is easy on hand. Two sizes very useful in kitchen. Washes quickly and easily with soap and a brush. Worked great for removing meat from stock to cool enough to shred.
