I bought it back to Dec but installed until last week. As other reviewers pointed out, it is still having the leaking issue on all three ports after I initially installed with just teflon tape and "normal" torque. I am wondering why the manufacturer has not fixed the issue after so many negative reviews about it? However, the leaking could be fixed and I would like to share my case with other customers and also urge the manufacturer to conduct a RCCA to fix it from root, by which will earn 5 star reviews and sell more. My case needs to install 1/2 NPT to PEX adaptor (Sharkbite) on all 3 ports. You need sealant. I bought Rectorseal #5 soft set from HomeDepot for $3.5. You also need vice as another reviewer said. You have to install the outlet port first by clam the valve's 2 inlet flat surfaces. Apply the sealant as instructed and then using a big7/8 box wrench to tight it much harder than normal although it works at only low pressure to shower head. After that,, you need to do the other two together. After applying sealant, you need to hand thread them into the ports first. Then, you need to clam one of the two adaptors' hex neck to the vice and using the box wrench to tight the other, which will eventually turn both. You should try to reach to the upper limit of the max torque you can before damage. If necessary, you may flip over and tight it again. I don't have a torque wrench, but you can feel it for a brass 1/2 fitting. Good luck. Again, the product is pretty and good functional value.

I’d seen other reviews mentioning leaking, and this one was no different. I used high quality fittings, pipe tape and the provided gaskets, and it was tightened as much as humanly possible, but leaked as soon as water was turned on. I uninstalled, removed fittings and tried it with thread tape alone ( one of the suggested methods from manufacturer) but got the same result. No way I’m going to tile over something this obviously unreliable. I’ll spend a little more and get a better brand, I suggest everyone does the same.
