I was going to go with the typical hasp lock when I came across this latch. This was easier to install than a hasp and it holds two doors closed together or a single door closed tight. And you don't have to play with a padlock. For a tighter fit I installed the interior part reversed with the rounded part of the latch towards the wood door as the wood always bows. This allows me to push on the door and turn the handle for a tighter closing.

Easy to install. Works great. The locking mechanism feels a little loose though. Other than that it works wonderful.
