I had to replace my rusted gate latch, and bought this one. It was easy to install and I like it because it's solid and sturdy and I was able to add a lock to it - a key lock or combination lock both work - for added security. And, the price was excellent.

Looks great and works well. I used this for the door into my chicken coop run. It is stout and works well. Really like that I can use a carabiner and lock it to keep the kids and critters out.

The latch itself is well made and very sturdy. The screws that come with it are not good. The head sheared right off one of the larger screws while I was screwing it into a 20-year-old wooden fence. I saw another review warning about the screws so I was being extra careful and drilled pilot holes and it still snapped.In addition to better screws, this product should also include a flat striker plate for situations where the fence is next to a wall, corner, or large post. I took the striker that comes with it and flattened it out and made it work, but it would be better if it included both types of strikers.

Exactly as expected. Good quality, sturdy, easy to install, good weight, and fits perfectly. Really good functionally and great value for the money.Wish it came with extra install screws. Lost one and had to use my own. But such a silly thing. LolGreat product. Recommend.

I was surprised at how heavy and thick the metal is. Easy to attach using matching provided screws. Can add a padlock if you desire for security. I can’t ever imagine it will wear out. Secures a 6X6’ wooden fence gate.

Quality and price is exceptional. We used this on a non-standard installation and it went very well. the dimensions were exactly as advertised. This is what I was concerned about. This made installation easy. I recommend this latch.

I installed the latch on my garage door and it works great. The latch is sturdy, well designed, and secure. The latch bar covers most of the screw heads when the latch is locked so that the screws can't be removed. A thief would have to use a crowbar to remove the latch.
