I purchased the 90 degree Coupler specifically to grease the mower blade spindles on my John Deere zero turn and lawn tractor. The grease fittings are not in an easy-to-access location on either JD and I thought this would facilitate greasing the spindles and make that aspect of my life easier. I did loosen the knurled ring on the Coupler and attached it to the zerk fitting and could not for the life of me get it to release. I tried to back the adjustment off further but could not rotate the knurled ring enough to get it to release the zerk fitting. I could not leave the Coupler on while I mowed and had to use a screwdriver for leverage and when the Coupler finally un-coupled, one of the Coupler jaw teeth broke. End result, broken Coupler and still unable to grease the spindles. I am going to see if Amazon will replace the Coupler and if so, and I have favorable result, I will update my review. UPDATE: I contacted Slippery Pete via an Amazon Returns and Orders link and Slippery Pete promptly replaced my broken coupler. Many thanks to Slippery Pete Customer Service, now it is on me to learn how to use the coupler without breaking it. I appreciate Slippery Pete's customer support.

This is a nice adapter and works well. When I ordered I didn't realize it was a temporary adapter not something you screw onto the end of your grease gun. In my case I needed a new end so I couldn't use this adapter the day I went to open the package and try it out.Once I got a fresh coupler for my gun I tried this again and it is much more useful now. I like it quite a bit and although at first I wished it would just go on my grease gun in the end I think it's just great like this. I would like to see an adapter packaged with this so it could be mounted directly on a grease gun instead of being a temp add on.Nicely built piece overall though - feels right at home with my other tools and they all approve.

I had a similar item that connected with zerk fittings to my grease gun. It leaked like crazy.This item fit well and allowed me to use two hands on the grease gun with NO leakage. I did have to loosen the coupling in order to remove it from the zerk fitting, however very easy to do.I used on my RV to get to the grease fittings behind the tires.

Nothing to it, just attach on the end of existing coupler. It just leaks between the two and nothing comes out the end of the 90 degree attachment. I need it for only 1 zero fitting and it doesn’t even work. My coupler doesn’t leak when I attach to other fittings on my skid. Will return it.

For 1 the hose is too stiff and u battle with it alot while trying to hook onto the zerk. The 2nd thing is that you have to unscrew the end almost the entire way off to be able to get it back off the zerk fitting. The one full turn and no more written in the instructions doesn't cut it. Other then that it works good I was able to grease my mower deck spindles just fine

Product promises a lot but doesn't fit zerk properly and grease gets out of the coupler that connects to this 90 degree attachment.
