We bought this lid holder for our slow cooker to keep from putting our lid in the sink every time we wanted to stir or dish out the food. It has made a big difference and it catches the condensation so it doesn’t drip on my counter.One thing to consider is that it attaches either under the lid or under the edge of the ceramic pot. If you put it under the lid it does not give it a good seal and if you put it under the edge of the ceramic pot it will be a little off. For me this is not a big deal and it has been working well. This is a good product and priced very well.

At first I thought I was going to have to return it, because I could not get it to stay on the middle backside of crockpot. And then just when I was ready to give up... I slid it down closer to the crockpot handle and it worked! Yay!!! (Apparently the lip of the crockpot insert is narrower at that point.)

I use this every time I cook in my crockpot. It’s so convenient and sturdy. I’ve never had a problem with melting at all even after hanging on the side of my crockpot on high for many hours. Don’t buy the knock offs- this is the best!!

I have 2 different name brand 6 qt crockpots. Doesn’t work on either one. Slides around when I go to put lid in it and then comes off the lip and stays attached to lid when I go to replace lid
