This purchase was definitely a want and not a need. There’s plenty of options on the market but the retro look got my money.I like that it’s small and makes enough water for myself for my tea and coffee addiction. I like the auto shut off, I like the size, I like the style, I like how it makes me feel. I feel proud to own it.What I don’t like was the price! Very very expensive. And one improvement it needs is the lid is a bit awkward to open. You basically have to pull the lid hard to open it and it feels like it can be yanked off completely. Wish they added a quick release button on top like they did was the larger kettles.When I first got it, it had this scratch on it and I was going to return it. But I showed it to my friend and she couldn’t even see it. So, I kept it and now I don’t even notice any blemishes now. The kettle is used daily and I haven’t had any issues with it. I hope this kettle lasts as long as my old one, which was over 10 yesterday old…
