The gauge 10 brass solid wire connectors were easy and quick to use to repair a broken set of wires. The set screws, while small, held the solid wire well. Only about 1/4' of wire goes into the connector from each end.The heat shrink leaves a little to be desired. If I had to use them again, I would add more shrink material to what is provided. The shrink wrap does a good job of securing the set screws.A small allen type wrench is provided to tighten the set screws (which you insert into the brass connector).I tried crimp on connectors first, which failed, then ordered these. I bought a second set for my tool kit.recommend

Used these to splice some electrical wires. Easy to use and did the job I needed. Only thing is the set screws are really small and hard to handle. Overall was a good buy.

I used these for extending a trolling motor power cable. They're thick enough to be very sturdy. Enough thickness for the set screws to thread in deeply and get a good bite to hold the cable in place. Definitely worth the money if you're joining heavy gauge cable.

Says these are 6 gauge. They are sized at closer to 10 gauge. Not even close. Poorly manufactured as well as the holes aren’t even drilled evenly or even in the center of the pieces.

These worked as expected. My only complaint is that the heat shrink tubing did not shrink down to the size of the six gauge cable. I had to use other means to seal the connections.
