I wanted to try leaving my snowblower out on my front patio this winter so we could fit both cars in the garage. The front patio is covered by a roof that sticks out about 6 feet but with no side protection on two sides, so I got this to keep the snow off the engine. I think it is good quality cover for the price. It is a universal cover, so it is not easy to get it stretched very tight . It works great for the blowing snow that I get on my patio, but if this were completely exposed, then the snow would probably push down on it and make pockets that wouldn't drain (unless you maybe rig up some internal supports). If that then freezes, it becomes a big issue. (Which I know from experience with grill covers.) I think it would also be good for anyone that has to leave a snowblower outside in the summer. The rain would pool in it, but it would be easy enough to dump it every now and then.

This is a generous size cover that fits my 21" Ryobi snowblower with room to spare. It is lined and although not very heavy fabric I like that so to be easily able to shake all the snow from it. It got a test the first night that I got it as I left it folded over the back of a chair in the dining room to take it outside the next day. I got up the next morning and found it in another room and my cats had clearly thought it a new toy (if I thought about it I shouldn't have left it on that chair cuz the cats jump on and off it all the time). I picked it up and inspected it expecting to find a whole lot of claw holes but there was not a single blemish on it so it is definitely more durable/stronger than it's weight might suggest. Perfect for my needs.

This cover seems thick and durable and generously sized- it fits easily over my Briggs & Stratton 1024MD snow thrower with room to spare. It has tightening straps in the front and back so that the cover can be cinched up snugly around the machine. I haven't had it outside on any of the howling winter nights yet, but based on the fitment, I expect the cover to stay in place and hopefully not blow away! The inside of the cover is a silvery material which I think my have some heat-resistance in case you put the cover over your machine while it's still warm.I'm giving 4 stars for now just because it's early in the season and I want to see how well this cover protects my machine and how well it holds up as well, but I'm definitely pleased with the first impressions.
