Very easy to set up, they have been working great during this heavy snow season that we’ve been having. I plan to buy another set for my other set of stairs soon.

It seemed to work well for a week. I have 3 steps that lead into the house so these were perfect for that. NE Ohio weather. It's snows, then slightly warms then gets freezing again so I kept it on. It's plugged into an outside covered outlet with a GFCI. I had it on for 5 days straight and it was perfect. The last few days have been uneventful so I turned it off for a day. We are expecting another 2-4" of snow, so I turned it back on and for whatever reason the GFCI is tripping. We did have some sun and melting, so not sure if water got into the connections or not but I am now fully frustrated. I have 220 service so that's not an issue. I was really hoping to make it through at least one winter with this product. If it's the freezing and thawing and freezing again, I'll update. But with the icicles dripping on the steps I really need them to work so that my dog's and I can be safe going down the steps.Installation was easy, value was meh, durability is great, they just aren't working anymore.
