The installation process was very straightforward. The included instructions feature numerous wiring diagrams for various brands and configurations, which is quite helpful.For me, the most time-consuming part was locating the corresponding number for my Coleman unit—it’s tucked away on the inside panel of the junction at the bottom left of the yellow diagram. Once I found that, following the step-by-step instructions was a breeze.Now, starting the A/C is incredibly quiet, with no jolts or bumps, and I can easily power it on using my inverter. I'm really happy with this product!

I have a friend who works for an HVAC company. This came recommended. As advertised. Good quality starter kit. It’s easy to install even if you’re not an electrician – the instructions are helpful. The 4 LED indicator lights help make this user-friendly. The unit is very versatile and can be used for several appliances. Would recommend.

This is a decent soft start that would be great for home use or as an economical option in al older RV. It is NOT for use in a newer RV that still has factory warranty. I run a mobile RV repair business, and I get questions as to why some popular RV brand soft start is $300 versus this and other economical options.This is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance, the components come from the same few overseas suppliers as the more expensive options, and they do work. The difference is that UL listed soft starts are tested to a much greater tolerance specification and will not void your warranty if installed by an authorized technician. I hope this helps.This is a properly functioning soft start that will benefit your electrical system - generator, power distribution and AC unit when installed. It works as described by pulsing the signal and ramping up the starting current versus the factory installed hard-start capacitor.This unit is easy to install and functions well. This is one of the most economical soft starts currently available if you do not need a listed product. I would not hesitate to install this on a camper that has no warranty concerns as this point.

Got this for my rv’s AC so that we could use it in lower power situations, particularly when at home and needing to do some work in it when it’s hot and we have a lower powered energy source. I think this will also be really helpful with a generator so that we don’t have to buy some insanely high powered generator. Easy to install with some basic electrical knowledge and it has pretty clear diagrams, I thought anyway. Pretty good price for this and works great.

I wish every camper had these, just saying. The kit came with everything I needed including great directions. This works with our 2 year old domestic 13.5k btu a/c with our 15amp converter. We can now run the a/c off of standard house plug and our 3200 watt duel fuel generator. The hard thump on start up is gone and seems to run quieter. We're very happy with this unit.

Installed on my Dometic Duo Therm RV ac, dramatically reduced the start up shutter from the compressor kicking on. AC sounds quiet and reduced amp draw to a maximum of 9amps during AC cycle. Easy to install, several videos online demonstrating how to connect.
