Substantial. Well made. I'm using to scoop out used bedding in mini coops for my chickens. Plus being metal I can scrape surfaces when needed.

I was looking something sharp and thin to scoop up soil/compost and transfer to different place. This fits perfect for that. The ends are thin & strong, which helps to break soil clumps. Have not seen this in stores. Really worth it.

Handy for gardening, (moving dirt to pots), only recommendation is to wear gloves as the edges a sharp particularly where your hand hits back of scoop while holding handle. It works as described for a stamped out stainless scoop.

I saw stainless steel and thought this would make a decent scoop for cleaning the backyard dog messes. I was wrong. This thing is just pressed out of the thinnest, flimsiest metal sheet you can find. I assumed it was tin because the shovel is literally bending in my hand as I'm trying to scoop with it. I can imagine the handle snapping right off with just a little bit of use. This is definitely not worth $16.
