I wanted to add a couple more panels to my off-grid solar system but was almost at the Voc limit of my all in one inverter, and 2 more panels would put me over. I got these and split the array from 8x 550w panels in series, to 2x strings of 5 panels in parallel. The plugs were easy to install, fit my panels without any issue, and appear to be well made. Current to my inverter is double as expected and everything is working well. Great value for the price. I have a couple of other small arrays powering other buildings on my property and I'll buy more of these if I need to run parallel panels in the future.

I bought these to do some testing on running some panels in parallel for my Delta Pro 3 on the high voltage side to run a 4th panel. The test adding the 4th panel didn't really work out for me as 3 panels in series works out better for the panels I have, but I will still definitely need these for 2 panels on my low voltage side.As far as these specific branch connectors, they worked perfect, seem like high quality and were the best price I could find. The learning experience and the fun I had made these more than worth the purchase price.

Used for my solar setup to run parallel panels and works well. Will see how they stand up to the elements overtime.

#1 is the build quality, these are nice compared to some other stuff I have seen/received. If you are running parallel, 10awg is your safest bet. I like that you can use these to bridge remote panels, run 1 long run of 10awg, and bridge to others doing the same. I will for sure be buying more as I expand my system.

These connectors are shorter than my others by 6 inches. I have to free up some cable to get them installed. Other than that they look fine.
