Product works like a charm. I use it for work out videos and I’m always stopping and restarting and it doesn’t give me any problems. Tracking is beautiful it makes my life so much simpler now! My other player was a mess, and it had arrived that way.

The Sony VCR did not work at all. I had to take it to a repair shop and they opened it up and said it was filthy--black gunk on the heads and caked with inches of dust. They cleaned it for me. But I would never buy anything again from this company. They obviously don't look at the machines.

I bought this to copy both commercial and homemade DVDs. The remote would not allow me to change the recording speed or the input. I needed the input to be 'Line in" but the recorder was set on the coax input and could not be changed. The speed was set on SP and I wanted EP. It also could not be changed. The seller was 100% cooperative offering several suggestions in exchanges, but nothing worked. The seller accepted a return with no argument. I would rate the seller very high.

The VCR is in good shape as advertised. It is in good working order. The only criticism is that the description indicated that the VCR comes with the original remote control, however the remote is for an Sony LCD TV not a VCR. The remote was not set up and didn’t work to control the VCR when it arrived. We did some research and had to set up the remote control ourselves. After we did so, it does control the VCR but doesn’t do things like control the volume or eject. We are happy the VCR is in good working order but realized the description is inaccurate.

Bought this to convert old VHS to my PC. The VCR is like new and has no issues with my worn out old VHS tapes. Saw my 1989 1st bday last night for the first time. Pretty cool.

I was thrilled when I put in the tape and it played. It rewound just fine. Then it wouldn’t eject the tape. Then it wouldn’t play it again. So I’d like to contact the seller but don’t have any contact information. Too bad. I’m sending it back.
