These seeds were not so good. Out of all of them only two sprouted. However, the plant smells really good once it grows, I have yet to get any flowers after two years tho.

I followed the directions and cold-stratified the seeds before planting in high quality soil. I did not get a single sprout. There are not many seeds in the packet so you can't really try more than a single batch.I cannot recommend.

Seeds sprouted just fine. I planted seeds back in january and they are growing nicely. Seeds and seedlings have the faintest lavender aroma.Use cold stratification for best results. I have seeds from direct sowing and cold stratifying and they all sprouted WELL.Make sure to use a well draining soil or seed starting soil. Place in direct sunlight or bright grow lights. Temperature should be 70-80°FLavender is finicky to grow. If you dont have the right conditions right now, plant them in the spring or summer depending on your region

I plan on using these in my AeroGarden hydroponic unit. The lavender seed pods were sold out and I have the empty seed pods that I can use. The package states that these are notoriously hard to germinate when planted in soil and recommended starting the process in a wet paper towel placed in a bag and put in the fridge for 3-4 weeks. I'm not going to do that for my hydroponic garden because its a wet start anyway and I would not have done that for the seed pods. There are so many seeds in this packet that if they fail the first time, I can try again with no extra charge. If you plan on using them in an outdoor garden, I would recommend following the directions. There are lots of other plants that need a cold period as well, so it's not the company's fault that seeds can be finicky. I hope to enjoy a nice aroma of lavender in my home over winter!

I got 40 babies growing from these seeds. Its been under 2 months sense germination and their already 3 inches tall with multiple nodes branching out. About 50 percent germinated and this was without cold stratifying them. Thanks for the lavender! I wish they would say what strain these lavender are, many people would like to know. My best guess is english.

Followed every direction to a T, even cold stratified the seeds for three weeks. None of them sprouted.
