About this item

  • Beautiful - Large individual packets of five varieties of sweet bell pepper seeds, including California Wonder (‘Capsicum var. ‘California Wonder’), Sunbright (Capsicum var. ‘Sunbright’), Orange Sun (Capsicum var. ‘Orange Sun’), Purple Beauty (Capsicum var. ‘Purple Beauty’), and Chocolate Beauty (Capsicum var. ‘Chocolate Beauty’). Best started indoors under lights 8 weeks before setting outside. Contains 300mg of seed per packet (about 50 seeds).
  • Productive and Decorative - Peppers, in assorted hot or sweet varieties, are not only productive plants, but typically have lush foliage that looks great in garden and in landscape beds.
  • Good Eats - The large, blocky shape of these rainbow bell peppers makes them perfect for stuffing. They are also tasty grilled or eaten raw. Sweet peppers are a favorite for their mild flavor and versatile uses.
  • Easy to Grow - Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will happily make it right for you.

I was concerned because some of the reviews stated none of the seeds sprouted so I planted more than I needed but they all sprouted!! Took about 2 weeks to see anything but now I have so many pepper plants I need to give some away. Will update this review once they start producing the purple and chocolate peppers.

Planted 6 seeds of each pepper, as well with 3 other seed trays, all my melons, pumpkins, peas and herbs have sprouted, I've yet to have a single bell pepper sprout, Been planted for one week now with heating pad, will contact seller next week if none sprout/update review.EDIT 1- Been two weeks now melons and peas are in new homes, not a single bell pepper seed sprouted, going to throw 3-5 in each hole and try again. Hail Mary 🤘. If this does not work, will request refund for faulty seeds and look elsewhere. Also added picture that was taken before I transferred melons into nurseryEDIT 2- Got notification from Amazon that seller issued full refund without me having to deal with process or having to contact them, will be updating rating due to this gesture! Thanks sara.

These beauties grew in no time. Just place and gently push into soil and water. No green thumb needed. Will be purchasing more

I ordered pepper seeds on April 3rd and planted them as soon as they arrived. The purple and chocolate peppers grew right away but the yellow and red didn't germinate at all. I then planted 2 cells of each but those didn't germinate either. I tried a third time with 4 cells of each. No luck again. I will now have to purchase plants from a nursery to have pepper plants.

On the positive side I started seeds from all 5 packs under grow lights in mid april and had a near 100% germination rate. Great start. Transplanted 6 of each into gro bags full of my own compost on May 22 and had no losses. All 30 pepper plants have grown large and healthy. On the down side the purple beauty plants are actually a hot yellow banana pepper. Lots of them on all 6 plants anyway. The yellow bell pepper plants grew well but not a lot of flowers and only 1 or 2 peppers on each plant. Same thing with the orange, chocolate beauty and california wonder plants. Nice plants with not many peppers.I did plant some california wonder and orange pepper plants at the same from my local garden center and they are very productive.I wont be buying these again.
