I like this brush because the boar bristles are soft thus allowing me dust excess flour off my sourdough bread loaves after baking. It is well made, easy to use and stores on an "S" hook near my baking table. Since its exclusive use is dusting off flour, I just wash it in warm water under the sink faucet, and let air dry.I like the size of this tool.

When I made the switch from plastic to wood and silicone I knew I wanted a hair brush for pastries and baking. The silicone ones are always great for BBQ and cooking but when you want a good egg wash or butter coat, you need something thicker to really “paint†it on. I live the length of this, it's easy to hold and easy to wash and it really elevates the look of a wood utensil display.

I purchased this brush to brush away rice flour left on my proofed sourdough bread once removed from the banneton. It's a pretty well made brush with nice stiff bristles perfect for quickly brushing away excess flour prior to baking. I highly recommend this brush for sourdough enthusiast or any baker looking for a well made pastry brush. Happy baking!

I bought this to clean my coffee grinder. I worried that the bristles might not be stiff enough for that purpose, but it's perfect. It would also be great for its actual intended purpose as a pastry brush. I think I wouldn't use it as a basting brush because liquid could get stuck in the ferrule. It's sturdy and the handle is wooden, a plus.

I LOVE this basting brush! I had been using the silicone-type brush for basting; it's not the proper shape and the "bristles" aren't large enough. I started looking for a more natural one and came up with this. It arrived almost immediately and I used it that night to cover chicken breasts with olive oil. It is a dream! And very easy to clean as well, similar to how you would clean a makeup brush. I simply dunk it into a coffee cup of soapy water and let it sit while I eat dinner. Then, take it out, rinse, and voila! It's clean and ready to be stored on end for use next time. This is a great addition to my kitchen tools.

I’ve been using this for about 1 year (intermittently) and it’s proven itself to be well made. It holds a decent amount of marinade and it cleans up pretty well.
