These brushes are cute and functional. My mom and I just made cheesy garlic bread and each of us had a brush to prepare the bread with garlic infused olive oil!!

I have always and only had and used one brush in my kitchen to clean out the coffee grinder of all things that I grind ... coffee, herbs, flax seeds etc ...Needless to say, I purchased a separate coffee grinder for just coffee. About time really!I bought these brushes to clean out afterwards. I liked that the fibers were natural and the handles are wood. Turns out, those qualities are not so perfect.Not impressed!As you can see from the image, the water I used to clean the larger brush, traveled up the brush fibers and stayed wet enough to stain the wood. Pretty sure that is prime breeding ground for bacteria.When I vigorously used the smaller brush to clean out the coffee that stuck in the grinder, the fibers were breaking off into the already ground coffee. Thankfully, I use a filter when I brew so I felt okay about using the coffee afterwards.Needless to say, I no longer use these brushes. they hang as a decorative touch in my kitchen.

This set is very well-made, it's made with clean materials, the brushes don't shed the bristles and have the perfect size without being bulky and extra wide.
