The base of the unit is an exact match, but the pipes are not a match in the placement, bends or the length of what I pulled out of my 82 corvette. Every measurement is just a little bit off, just enough to cause a problem. Being aluminum, it is impossible to bend the pipes without breaking at a seam, so we had to modify the plastic heater box with a dremel. Once installed in the heater box, the pipes coming out and going down underneath the car was problematic in that the bend radius of the heater core pipes put them up against the firewall creating problems while trying to get the hoses back on. All in all we were able to get it to work, but expect extra effort to get it all back together. I guess you get what you pay for, this is cheap enough, but not an exact match OEM part.

Overall, its worth the money if you are capable of the modifications.
