Well worth while - bought this together with a Toyo glass cutter for 5$ on Aliexpress and they both work great. I watched a few Youtubes on how to cut glass and bought the tools. I played with the idea of getting a newer model (saddle cutter, tapping wheel etc.) but IMO it's a waste of money. Spray a little WD40 into a bottle top stuffed with tissue and dip the cutter in that from time to time before cutting. Hold the cutter at 45 degrees with the middle finger pressing the side of the head and pull towards you firmly. Then place the running pliers about 2cm in from the the glass edge and squeeze. Breaks beautifully every time.

As a professional handyman, I repair and replace many of the older style, multi-pane windows on older houses.Because of this, I'll buy large glass panes to cut into smaller rectangular panes depending on size and quantity needed.Between my good old glass cutters and a solid set of glass running pliers, I'm able to do a clean, smart job with windows.These running pliers are durable, they don't have any wobble or looseness in them. The adjustment screw isn't loose or shaky at all.They have a good handling weight and grip to them as well. This helps a lot in making a reliable break.The price is very good for a set of running pliers this nice.

Thought I was going to have to replace my mosaic tool as the rubber caps were worn chancing scratching the glass. After watching mosaic creators on Pinterest there were helpful tools I didn’t have and looking on Amazon I came across these! Perfect

Sicher ein sehr hilfreiches Werkzeug, ich habe es zurück geschickt, weil mir die Kraft fehlte damit vorgeschliffene Glas-Mosaik-Fliesen zu zerteilen. Das Teil liegt gewichtig in der Hand, macht also keinen minderwertigen Eindruck und man kann sicher gute Ergebnisse damit erzielen. Nur ich mit meiner schweren Arthrose in den Knochen brauche dann doch die Hilfe durch elektrische Kraft.
