I love it. I personally wouldn’t cut glass on anything else. It catches all the little particles perfectly

I used it for cutting glass to use in mosaic garden totems. It worked wonderfully to catch any shards that may fly into or away from my work area. (Please wear the appropriate eye protection.)I wish I could find it cheaper, but the value for the money is there.

Wish it was slightly larger. I know you can purchase additional ones and connect them but looking for an in between size/option.I like the option of blue!

Ordered this on a whim and have been thrilled with it. Love the multiple ways to configure. Catched small glass shards and the plugs/metal rollers are a game changer. Totally recommend for any level of stained glass experience.

It catches little chattered glass from cuts and helps to continue working without the need for sweeping every time you make a cut.

I've practiced stained glass for 10 years and have tried out multiple tools and gadgets. I work on a wood tabletop, and this craft can get pretty messy. It's so much easier and convenient to have something that cuts the cleaning time in half. The waffle grid is the perfect size for smaller projects, and you can just add more grid for bigger projects. The glass is easy to cut on this grid, and it helps eliminate the amount of tiny shreds from getting all over the place. This is a good quilt grid, and it's one of my top must-haves for stained glass. You don't need it to get started, but for small projects, it makes cleaning up easier and keeps your workspace tidy

I'm very new to stained glass, and I've been struggling with glass cutting more than anything. I had no idea a tool like this existed, but it's helping me a lot so far! The glass doesn't slip around nearly as much thanks to the black rubber pieces, and I don't need to worry about all the little glass shards getting everywhere anymore. The mat itself is really solid feeling despite being plastic. The plastic is smooth and doesn't damage or scratch any of my glass, even pieces with delicate finishes. The size is perfect for me as a beginner, but I like that I can slot in extra mats to make it larger whenever I'm confident enough for larger glass pieces.Overall, I'm thrilled with it. I'm really happy to realize that glass cutting CAN be easier and less of a pain, I just need the right tools.

I am only getting started with stained glass so I don't have a lot of knowledge yet. I know that what I like to call glass crumbs can be an issue. I wanted to make sure I'm being safe and making things as easy on myself as possible. This is nice and sturdy so I'm not concerned about cutting glass on it at all. Mine did come with the little black foam but it did not come with the ball bearing. I took off one start but I happen to already have one around so it isn't a big deal. I do like that if I needed a larger work surface I could get more and connect them easily.

It certainly does the job and prevents small glass shards from spreading across the work bench. But it is rather expensive for a piece of plastic. Unfortunately I couldn't find a cheaper alternative.

I tried cutting on a craft cutting mat for a while but kept getting tiny splinters of glass in my hands so although I think this is expensive it has spared my hands from little nicks. Useful and big enough for small craft projects. I don't think I'll need to add to its size for my crafts.
