Thick, structured mat for easy transfer of itty bitty glass pieces into your trash can without losing any dangerous tiny pieces onto your carpets or hard-surfaced floors. The orange provides excellent visibility of cut remnants and even makes it super simple to find this mat amongst your craft items' storage. Mat is 12" x 12" so potentially you may like to purchase the multi-pack rather than the single mat, but I really only work with smaller pieces so the single mat is plenty for me. This is an important addition to your glass cutting "toolbox" as it will safely protect your family members and friends that are around while you're working/crafting.

If you’ve ever had to cut glass, you know why you need this mat. If you haven’t, it’s to catch all of the miniature glass pieces, shards, and dust that are the results of trying to cut glass. I love the fact that you can snap these together- even though there’s only one in this pack if you had a bigger workspace or needed more mat space you can always purchase more and they will interlock. The bright orange color on this allows me to see what’s down there. It also comes with the stainless steel ball to help after the score. Lines have been made for clean brakes if you do so choose to use it.This is also very rigid rubber. It’s not soft and it won’t fall when you pick it u. It holds its form all the way to the trashcan.well, this isn’t a “necessary“ piece of equipment for glass cutting. It is definitely an added bonus to make life easier for glass cutters.10/10 highly recommend

If you are someone that works with stained glass, these mats are great. The board is designed so that fragments and chips won't get everywhere making it so you constantly have to sweep. The 12x12 is a good sized space and if you need a bigger work area, if you buy more, they snap together. I strongly suggest the orange colored one as it is easier to see the glass fragments.

Not too small and not too large. If you want a larger one, you can just attach new ones as needed. Great for catching all the chips and burs as you work. Simply turn upside down over the trash can and tap out the little pieces. Prevents hands from getting cut fro the little shards.Love this!

One great thing about these mats is that you can add them together for larger projects. They are perfect for catching chips and burrs as you work. To clean, turn the mat upside down over a trash can and tap out the little pieces, preventing your hands from getting cut by the shards.
