Your cart is empty.Our 17-7 PH precipitation-hardened Spring Temper Wire (ASTM 313 Chemistry Only) is furnished cold drawn in Condition C (AMS 5678), cleaned and straightened. Its elastic properties permit reforming into a specific shape and it can be formed into springs or into required patterns as in the case of diagnostic catheters. This is accomplished by taking the formed cold drawn wire (Condition C) and aging it at 900F (482C) for one hour (to Condition CH900). 17-7 Spring Wire provides good corrosion resistance, excellent fatigue properties and minimum distortion during heat treatment. In addition, the material retains its load bearing properties with little or no relaxation up to 850 degrees F. Furnished in "gun barrel straight lengths. Compatible with tube gauges 25-26.

Using product in scientific laboratory. Wishing "spring" quality was more spring-ish. If bending at a 33% angle it will spring back. At a 45% degree angle, it only srpings back 3 - 4 degrees.Still usable, but just a bit disappointed.

This is good stuff for making spinners and musky baits for fishing lures. It will also work if you have some tooling ability in making some nice rounded pegs etc... for other types of lures. Very strong and won't corrode. I ordered the .044" diameter and it's great. Shipping wasn't bad and price was way down.

It's wire, for pete's sake, what can you say about wire? It arrived. IT was as advertised. Is that supposed to be fantastic?

has a mill finish but I expected that. Was slightly hard to bend but held it's shape well after bending. The shipping was excellent.
