I wasn't happy with typical options of oven mitts for use with my oven style air fryer. I even bought long rubber coated gloves to prevent burns on the top or sides of hands & wrists. When I noticed pizza peels I knew it was a much better solution. After wading through size options I found this tool to be the perfect size & weight to lift pans out of the 500° oven.

not near the size I expected. Its only like 10 inches wide. Too small for most pizzas. Had to order a larger size. Fine for small pizzas.

Like the way it is put togeather, looks like it will last, but.Smaller than expected and good for small pizzas and sandwiches .

We use this when we have personal pizza nights at our house. We use smaller pre-made crusts and allow guests to create their own pizzas.

I needed a large Spatula for flipping burgers, so I thought I would give this guy a try. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues with it which resulted in having to return it to the jungle:1. Handle was not well attached. The metal part wobbled around in the wood handle with an audible clicking back and forth noise; it was not secure. Wood felt cheap and had a dent in it. Where is the quality control? No where.2. The gauge of steel used is ridiculously thick. I just need to flip a 1/4 to 1/2 lb burger, not the Empire state building. I mean, I like things which are strong and over engineered; don't get me wrong. However, in this particular case the spatula was just too thick to be practical for use when cooking.3. The angle at the front didn't make me think this spatula would get under a hamburger patty without tearing my cast iron pan to shreds. If I were removing drywall or maybe the remains of a blown head gasket on an engine block, then this would be perfect. For flipping burgers, not so much.So all in all, this Spatula turned out to be a big disappointment. Perhaps if you were using it on a BBQ grill, it "might" be okay. However, even then, I think it's just too thick and grossly over engineered for the job it needs to do. The bottom line is I need something wide and slim to slip under food and flip it when cooking. I don't need a super tiny pizza peel that can lift a house. Really it's just screaming out for a redesign: 1/2 the thickness and also a handle that is properly secured. For now, pass.
