Application: Only smooth stair surfaces can be used, and non-smooth and uneven stair surfaces are not permitted.

Step 1: Clean and dry the surface of the stairs.
Step 2: Tear off the film on the back.
Step 3: Install the stair treads and press to flat.
NOTE: Please keep 1-2cm away from the edge. Only applicable to smooth stair surfaces. If there are stains such as dust on the surface, it will affect viscosity.
EASY TO CLEAN
Notes：
1. When changing, do not use force to quickly remove it. Slowly remove it to avoid damaging the adhesive layer.
2. Machine washing is advised to be placed in a laundry bag for cleaning.
3. After cleaning, do not expose the adhesive layer to direct sunlight to avoid affecting its adhesion.

The carpet steps are great and stick to the wood steps very well. They look great and provide traction on the steps which is great for safety and pets going up and down the steps. Came as advertised.

I didn't know what to expect when I bought these step covers, They are not glued to the wood but somehow they stay in place and are very secure. I can now run up and down wearing socks with no issues.

UPDATE 01FEB: Nearly all of them are peeling up on the long edges. Bummer since they look good on the stairs. 😔So I saw these treads at my daughter's house. Her boyfriend put them on their stairs and I thought they were a fantastic idea.I ordered them and installed them immediately. I made sure that I cleaned the stairs really well, mopped them, and then waited for the stairs to dry and then put them on.All I had to do was peel the backing off and lay them down. I ran my hand across them and then used a flat roller to roll over top of them.For the most part, they're holding up very well, I'm really impressed. They don't slide. The only problem I'm having is they lift a little bit on the ends and around some of the edges. But so far, they haven't lifted off and no one's tripped on them. I check on them every now and again, just to make sure that they are still stuck tightly.I'm not sure what the material is that they're made of but the backing has some sort of sticky paper. I want to call it tape, but it's not really tape. You can lift these things off and they come off with no problem, they don't pull any paint. They don't pull any of the top coat off the steps, they just stick to the stairs. I don't know how they do it, but they do. They're very well made. I'm just waiting to see how long they actually hold up.Overall, I really like them. I would highly recommend them to someone who's looking for treads. To add to their steps, and I would definitely buy them again. The price they're asking is very fair.

So easy to install. I wiped down the stairs with microfiber towel and placed on the stairs. I did 14 stairs and took about 15 min.

These are actually very nice looking for the price exactly what I needed to go down towards the basement with pets, but they are not even tacky. I wouldn’t even say sticky so this is my second set and I actually bought the 3M wall hanging strips and put them on both left and right side so they wouldn’t move Out a place when you stepped on them but overall for the price and the luck they are very nice

I got these for my senior dog as her back legs aren’t stable anymore and they have worked so well. It’s actually great for us too!I was a little concerned when I was first installed them as the edges kept lifting, but after a full day of letting them rest, they flattened out. l had them for about 4 months now and not a single one had come off or lifted.

We had new flooring placed and thought these would be a good alternative for slip resistant treads, IT WAS NOT! Cheap material, adhesive would hold in some places and not in others. We were afraid to pull on places that it did stick to prevent t damaging the new flooring. Now we are stuck with this poor quality product.

I recently purchased these staircase step treads, and I have to say, they exceeded my expectations! One of the biggest selling points for me was the no adhesive feature. We bought these because our 14 year old dog slipped on the laminate stairs. She was scared to go up and down. Now she does the stairs with ease with no slipping. The sticky backing makes sure the treads stay in place. The product is a nice design. It looks attractive on the stairs.

The carpet pads are non slip but donot stick down so some do kind of arch in the middle, double sided carpet tape would fix this but I personally would like to remove them for deep cleaning and litterally takes minutes to place them back, so far they appear to be holding up well, no signs of wear or bobbling. If they last a year or more I would consider this a bargain way to protect or add grip to hardwood or painted staircases, and in all honesty I wasn't expecting much for the price but the product has exceeded my expectations.
