Bought this item for a Ford Factory Thermostat that was 13 years old but this replacment valve failed after only 17 months. contacted STANT for free replacement and QC eval. and review. All springs and Thermostat perfectly intact but Thermostat failed to open. Spring seemed to have lost its thermal retraction characteristics.

I bought this thermostat to replace my broken factory 193F thermostat. It works great. However, the two aluminum supports are at an angle (same as in the picture) this is different from my original thermostat which had vertical supports. It required a little bit of hammering to sit in the housing.Other than that the product works perfectly! Very satisfied with the purchase.

Works for my 2008 Ford Edge. It did not come with a new “O†ring. I don’t know if it was supposed to, i just assumed that it would. Used the old one, it was ok.
