I'll start with my dislike... I don't like that STANT SuperStat is no more. You won't get a STANT SuperStat.That said, you will get a MotoRad.Hmmm... "I never heard tell of such".Turns out, they say they have been around forever. Well, I have been around even longer and no one has ever heard of me either... so we're even.Don't forget to drill a small bleed hole in your new stat (if it doesn't have one). I drill a few, so a tiny bit of coolant is flowing past the stat. It will operate right on que.😊

When I normally replace thermostats on my vehicles, I normally go to Autozone or some parts store and get the "Premium" 160* types but they never seem to hold up 160* and on my 94 F150 XLT, the pointer would normally be between the "n" and "o" on the (Normal) word.Well I decided to order this 160* seeing I went ahead and ordered a Gates water pump and I will have to say my truck loves it just as much as I do. Now the point doesn't even want to go past the line to even hit the "n"(Yea, yea yea, I know I need a real temp gauge)... Anyways If you are like me and like to hkeep your truck's engine much cooler than the super Hot stock 195*, I would not think twice and order this one. Most would go with a 180* but still too hot for my likings. Also for those wondering a 160* does not make the heat in the winter time any different temp. It still burns me out after 5 minutes and I can take heat in the winter. THUS the engine stays cool and maybe when it gets hotter soon, it may jump up a bit more but overall this is doing it's job like no other, I will order these in bulk for backup real soon!
