I just had a total hysterectomy just 4 days ago and this was hands down the very best thing I bought to help make my hysterectomy easier. I agree 100% that these should be given to all hysterectomy patients or at least sold in the hospital gift shops. It has helped while resting, and makes unexpected pain from coughing/sneezing or just laughing a little easier on the body if you are holding. The pockets are very well placed and convenient for holding everything from remotes, phone etc. I purchased the gray minky version and it is SO soft and cuddly. It is the one item I would HIGHLY insist on if someone I knew were having a hysterectomy.

I bought this pillow for support after my total hysterectomy. This thing has been a life saver! It's comfortable, it gives my stomach stability, works as a prop for when I lay on my side. Cushions my belly from the pets and kids accidently hitting me. Nice pocket and hand holder. Good price. I will recommend this product to any one having abdominal surgery!

I bought this for after my myomectomy. It was very comfy and soft on my incision area. I was also able to use the pocket easily for ice or warm pack. Good quality and love the color.

I have used this so much since having surgery. It's nice that you can put your seat belt through the pillow when in the car so you don't have to worry about it sliding around. It's soft, not super stuffed but adds the right amount of protection. It was nice to have next to me just in case I needed to cough. I like the pockets for a convenient place to put my phone or meds to keep them near by. You can absolutely just use a normal pillow or a squishmallow if you have one. I don't think this is necessary but it was nice...also kind of pricey for what it is in my opinion.

I had seen a YouTube video on a pillow like this made by an Etsy seller that was larger than this and much more expensive. While that one looked nice I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and needed the pillow for my recovery quickly.This pillow was the best ever! I used it in the hospital and on the ride home in the car plus for another 6 weeks at home. A MUST have especially for coughing or sneezing after a hysterectomy or other abdominal surgery. The pillow is a nice thickness but very light. The pockets are useful and the pass through for the seatbelt or arms is very nice. I was concerned about the little bumps on the fabric when I saw it online but they ended up being oddly comforting as they are not fabric knots but material bumps that flatten when you run your finger over them. All very soft and very soothing. I used it to hug an ice pack or heating pad close to me. My only wish was that the inner material would be incased in some cloth as I needed to remove the cover to wash it. The inside is batting/ cotton like material and it comes out easily enough but when restuffing it after washing the cover I was not able to get it perfectly back to shape but still good. I was glad the cover was removable. This item was a life saver ! High recommend!

I bought this to use after my hysterectomy but didn’t really need it as my procedure was robotic laparoscopic with no complications. It was useful for the 1.5 hr drive home though since I was still trying to wake up. The pillow comes vacuum sealed. I threw it into the dryer after opening and it fluffed right up. My biggest, and only, gripe is that it consists of only stuffing and outer cover. In order to wash the cover one must pull all the poly-fil out, then restuff once finished washing. Therefore, I’m not sure what the point of the zipper is. This pillow would be much more functional with an inner liner with the poly-fil inside of that for ease of washing.

Supper soft. Wonderful to carry around. Great for the car and seat belt and also great to use for a sleeping pillow when you’re stuck on the couch healing from a hysterectomy.
