I ordered this to add volume to the skirt of my Halloween Costume. I'm so glad I did because not only did it add volume, it elevated my look and added gothic elegance. I kept getting stopped and told how beautiful my costume was. Listen. When the gayes give you praise, you know you slayed.I was apprehensive about ordering due to the low rating and negative reviews. I'm glad I didn't allow them to stop me from ordering.I will agree that the ribbon the tule is attached to, could be of better quality. I'm going to buy a satin ribbon to reinforce.I do not think this will fit on a heavier person, a person with a thick/large waist.For reference: I'm 5'3, 130lbs

The ribbon is cheap, shiny and stiff. I would’ve preferred paying a little more for a nice satin or gros grain ribbon. I will have to see my own on.I don’t mind it so much on the skirt trim, but the waist ribbon makes it look cheap. Needs to be ironed on low heat. Other than cheap ribbon and wrinkles, it’s cute. I weigh 150 and it fits. It will fit anyone. Just add ribbon or tie tighter. One size fits all.

This is cute and I like it well enough for what it is. But the wide size range on this. The reality of that range is the ribbon you tie it closed with is really long. So if you're curvy/hippy, it may just run down your backside and not actually come around the side or front of your hips and legs at all.

This layered bustle ties on around the waist with a satin ribbon so the front side is just the tied ribbon with the layers trailing behind you. I didnt realize the front is as open as it is, the photo didn't show that well, FYI. But I still love it, and can't beat the price even if I'd sewn this myself. It's perfect for a number of Halloween, cosplay, period costume, etc but I also added it to my outfit I wore out to a metal concert. So it's just a lot of fun. For reference, I'm 5'6", currently 120 lbs; my waist runs 26"-27" around and my hips run 34" if that helps you with sizing. Since the waist band is a ribbon there is no give or stretch to it at all, FYI

Fun bustle, it was perfect for my steampunk outfit. I got a lot of compliments on my costume for the event. It needed a little steaming over a kettle when it arrived to release the wrinkles and creases.
